Day 55 - Leaving Song Saa for Hong Kong

We were very sad to leave Song Saa, an extraordinary resort with very attentive and friendly staf and delicious food. Here's a few more pics to round out our stay. It was tough to NOT take shots of the sunsets every evening!

We feel virtuous that we did the 8am yoga sessions and fit in a workout each day. It certainly was well overdue after all or our indulgences along the way. We also managed a boat trip to Coral Island for snorkeling and took advantage of the "house reef" right off the Vista Restaurant where we had breakfast every day. The water clarity could have been better (plankton blooms apparently) but we saw lots and lots of fish. Also, the coral all looked very healthy and there were several brightly colored giant clams and some huge anemones with resident clown fish.

The staff would leave cute notes for us as where our dinners would be each evening and for our last night we were told "the main pool". What was surprising was that it was actually IN the pool. Water up to our ankles in fact. Very fun and surely unique.

Our departure from Song Saa brought out many of the team members who'd looked after us to wave us off (Lidy our personal assistant, Eren our yoga teacher and Mr. Sol our snorkeling guide). It was verry very sweet but slightly "White Lotus" - (for those of you who follow the TV series...it was a little weird).

Tomorrow we'll be in Hong Kong!
