Day 12- Bye Bye New Zealand !

Well, it is hard to believe we are already saying goodbye to New Zealand. If you have been reading, you will know just how much we loved every minute. I (Lauren) keep thinking of the crack I made about the lack of style in NZ. And as I mentioned yesterday, there is an underbelly to that comment. Kiwis are unpolished in the most endearing way. Yes, their fashion is understated but that is because their priorities lie elsewhere. Based on the conversations we had with locals, guides, drivers etc. it seems to us that the Kiwis care about connection, service, humor, and a deep love and respect for their magnificent land. We couldn't have more love and respect for this country and its people.

For those who have been considering a trip to NZ - PLEASE GO! It is a super easy country to adjust to. It is really easy to understand everyone (no language barrier), people are very helpful, the food is very familiar and good (with a few surprises), and of course there is SO much to see and do.
